Sunday Snowy Ice

Woke this morning to finally see some snow on the ground.





The kids were excited, but it was covered with an icy coat.





Pretty to look at, but not ideal for snowballs or snowmen.







Just right for crunching around in winter boots.



And tasting with warm tongues.

    My kids enjoyed crunching too... and even brought in a few icicles to save in the freezer. I think they'll last better than the snowballs they tried to save last year! ;)

    We got ice and snow and more ice too. The roads are not that bad so the kids still had school.

    The pictures are precious. Isn't there something wonderful about kids in the cold...all bundled up, red noses, wide eyes.
